Here is a model of how to write a short response.

There are a number of steps to writing a short response.  The first step is to write a topic sentence.  For the next step you need to write 3-5 proof sentences.  Your proof sentences should support your topic sentence.  The final step is to write a concluding sentence.  As you can see there are a number of steps to writing a good short response.

-We are currently doing a unit on magnets and electricity.  Projects are now due January 5th.  A study guide went home today for the test on the 10th.
