Dear Westford Families, Due to weather conditions resulting in school cancellation, the last day of school is June 17th. This is a half day and students will be dismissed at noon. Students will be served lunch prior to dismissal time. On June 17th, 8th grade students will rehearse for the promotion ceremony. Other students will close out the school year with their current teacher and participate in step up activities with their new teacher and classmates for school year 2013/14.  Read More

Please consider donating a book to the Jump Start for Reading Program. What began as a community service project in 2006 by three 7/8 Westford students has grown into a wonderful book opportunity for all our current students. This program gives each student the chance to choose a book to take home for the summer and keep. if they wish.  Read More

Gail Piotrowski and Cindy Friel’s students became part of the Vermont-Honduras Partnership. Students raised money by doing chores and donated the money for school supplies in the new Honduras School. Students also made and sent friendship gifts related to K & 1st grade curriculum and instruction.  Read More


Westford School has been honored with the Exxon Mobil Educational Alliance Grant from the Energy North Group. This grant will support science programs and materials that engage students in inquiry and hands on science experiments.  Read More

School Store Order Form Click on the link for the most updated order forms The Westford School Store is a project by the second grade class. There are 3 ways to buy things from the school store. 1. You can send in an order form and some money to the second grade classroom (room 171) and we will deliver the items to you. 2. You can visit us on Wednesdays during lunch in the cafeteria. 3. On Thursday mornings we will have a table set up near the breakfast cart in the hallway.   Read More


The type of volunteer work including the parameters of student contact informs the level of screening requirements. A noteworthy improvement is the requirement for a criminal background check for a level III volunteer.
