TAP began in 2002 as a CCSU District Program to bring new teachers into the district. The goal was to provide an avenue for people with current careers to transition into teaching, thus creating a more diverse faculty for district students. Since its inception, the program has grown to support future teachers and administrators throughout the state of Vermont. TAP has recently expanded to southern Vermont with its partner, the Long Trail School, which is located in Dorset, Vermont.  Starting in the fall of 2010, TAP classes will be held in both Essex and Dorset to meet the needs of aspiring teachers throughout the state.  Below you will find data collected over the past 8 years.
