All 1st, 3rd grade students in Madame Cole & Madame Heikel’s classes and, Madame Comeau’s 2nd grade students are currently having French le jeudi (on Thursdays).  Kindergarten, other 2nd grade students and Madame Bergstrom’s class will have their first jeudi en français le 13 octobre (1st class is Thursday 10/13).

Trimestre 1 2011/2012: C’est l’automne!

Our time together usually begins with a song from Languages Online: Chanson – Bonjour!

 

1e année (1st grade) C’est moi!

We are currently reviewing and also expanding upon vocabulary acquired last year, and have an experiential goal this trimestre of being able to introduce oneself with a puppet. 

Introductions:  Listen to Caillou say “Je m’appelle Caillou”
Numbers:  à douze (to twelve) – visit Languages Online
Numbers 11 – 20 visit Languages Online encore!

2e / 3e année (2nd & 3rd grade) L’école

We are currently learning (2e) and reviewing and also expanding (3e) vocabulary for common objects found around  in the classroom and in the school.
