What is the Essex Skating Facility?
The Essex Skating Facility, located at 2 Educational Drive, is a state-of-the-art community center for both on-ice and off-ice activities. The Essex Skating Facility features a new refrigeration system, new locker rooms, new dasherboards, a new lobby area, and and an expanded vending area.
The facility is used year-round for various functions, including ice hockey, regional educational events, recreational programs, and community events. Additionally, educational program space is available within the building for both CTE and EHS students. Citizens from around the region access these programs, which are immediately proximate to the rink.

Various groups, from ice hockey teams to figure skaters to those just learning how to ice skate all take advantage of this quality facility. Some groups who use the facility include:

Plus Estimated Production Cost: $300
Community Exposure: Weekday: Runs 7-8 times/day; Weekend: Runs 12-14 times/day
Details: Exclusive advertising on the rink’s primary Zamboni
Dasherboards
Price: $1500/year
Plus Estimated Production Cost: $250
Community Exposure: Two boards on opposite sides of the rink, each approx. 30″ x 96″
Details: Commences with installation until completion of contract year
How do I advertise at the Essex Skating Facility?
- Contact us: If you’re interested in advertising with the Essex Skating Facility, contact Rink Manager Noel Boutin at (802) 878-1394 or nboutin@ccsuvt.org.
- What you will need: Photo, text, and other images to be included within the advertisement to be displayed OR a print-ready advertisement (with the design and formatting complete and ready to be printed)
- Availability: The facility has 20 pairs of dasherboards and one Zamboni advertisement. Placements are available on a first come, first served basis.
