Professional Development Institute

The Professional Development Institute is a district-hosted course which provides participates with the opportunity to engage in a self-designed learning experience while earning graduate credit through Southern NH University.  This is an opportunity to engage in individual learning (1 credit) or team-based learning (2 or 3 credits) which support ongoing school or district-based school improvement areas.  Rooted in the elements of action research, participants identify specific learning outcomes and methods by which they will be measuring their learning.

Deadlines:

  • Summer PDI applications are due no later than May 1.
  • School year PDI applications (Fall-Spring) are due no later than Oct 1.
  1. Please download the  PDI Application. Complete the application, save and email or send an electronic copy to Amy Cole.  Print a copy, ask your principal to sign it and send a hardcopy interoffice to Amy Cole at Central Office.
  2. Complete an online Course Approval Form with the correct fee (see table below).  The Institution = SNHU; Payment option = pre-pay the college. Course name = “Summer PDI” or ” School-year PDI”.
