Welcome back to school!! We are hopeful that you have had a restful summer. If you have spent time this summer doing some professional development, we would remind you to send us the final documentation necessary to complete your work for your IPDP. Meeting times will be posted below and any questions can be directed to any member of the LSB. Timely follow-up is very helpful for us in keeping up with our work load. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this. To avoid problems or delays, get all paperwork to us at least two weeks prior to our meetings and be sure to send two copies. One will be kept for our files a returned to you. Our first meeting for 2010-2011 is September 17.

Philosophy
The Local Standards Board of the Chittenden Central Supervisory Union believes that high quality professional development is necessary throughout the career of licensed educators. Professional development will provide opportunities for school employees to gain the knowledge and skills that are important to their position, to the improvement of school programs and enhancement of student learning, and to their performance as members of their profession. Licensed educators will play an active role in the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of their professional development connecting it to “Vermont’s Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities.”
