Local Standards Board
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The members of the CCSU LSB (Local Standards Board) would like to congratulate those educators who have completed their relicensing cycle for this year. It has been a pleasure to serve each of you with this process. For those who are not yet finished, please send your materials for our next and final meeting of the year on Friday, June 1st. As always, any comments or questions may be addressed to any of the board members.
We would also like to acknowledge the significant contributions to this process given by Tom Jiamachello. Tom has served this board since its inception and most of that time has been chair or co-chair. Tom will retire from teaching in June and on behalf of all CCSU educators, we would like to thank him for his leadership and commitment to this process through those 20 plus years.
All materials for the LSB should be sent to the following address:

Philosophy
The Local Standards Board of the Chittenden Central Supervisory Union believes that high quality professional development is necessary throughout the career of licensed educators. Professional development will provide opportunities for school employees to gain the knowledge and skills that are important to their position, to the improvement of school programs and enhancement of student learning, and to their performance as members of their profession. Licensed educators will play an active role in the planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation of their professional development connecting it to “Vermont’s Framework of Standards and Learning Opportunities.”
