The Party Hound

by Mrs. Peet’s Second Graders

He’s a dog that acts real funny

Short, with a wet, black nose

He lies on the roof of his doghouse

Charlie Brown’s friend, we suppose

(chorus:)

“S” for sensitive

“N” for naughty

“O” for outrageously round

Another “O” and he has his own show

 – P – Y, he’s a party hound!

He hangs around town with Woodstock

A yellow, spikey-haired bird

They tease and laugh together

And communicate with silly words

(chorus)

Snoopy pretends he’s a vulture

And the flying “Red Baron,” too

Over his head is a bubble

That tells you what he thinks of you

(chorus)
