Our Job Has Just Begun

She makes the homes and food for creatures

Looking after them

She watches for the bad polluters

And some smelly, smoky scooters

Thank you, Mother Nature

For all that you have done

We’ll do our part to help the world

Our job has just begun

She helps rivers flow and wander

And stocks them full of fish

She makes the ocean wave and roll

And keeps the wildlife in control

Our mountains touch the clouds above us

Just because of her

The trees are tall and full of beauty

That is Mother Nature’s duty
