Essex High Kicks off new Committee
Principal Rob Reardon introduced the latest edition to the growing EHS Professional Learning Community with the first meeting of the Steering Committee. The purpose of the new group is to allow a forum for communication and collaboration between the many active and effective teacher led committees at EHS.
Committee representatives from the Climate (Molly Edwards), Technology (Tom Preska), Advisory (Jen McKenzie), School improvement-environmental (Doug Horne), and the EHS Data team (Stacey Anthony) were in attendance.
With the assistance of Technology/ Web guru Tom Preska, the Steering Committee will make use of the technology available at EHS to insure that the workings of each group is available to all faculty. This communication tool will keep the faculty informed and will hopefully lead to increased collaboration, avoid duplication of efforts, and provide a forum for new ideas that will keep EHS in a state of continuous improvement.
