The Health Office is open daily from 7:45 A.M. until 2:50 P.M.  serving both Essex High School and the Center for Technology Essex.  The office is staffed by Licensed School Nurses who can be reached at 879-5517 during the above hours. Feel free to leave a message any other time and your call will be returned. You can also email the school nurses by clicking on the appropriate name on the left.

During the enrollment process parents are asked to complete a Health Information form that will provide necessary information needed by the school nurses, including permission for over the counter pain medication. The Health Information Form needs to be filled out yearly. Forms are provided during enrollment or available here.

Screening Programs:

Grade 9: vision, hearing, blood pressure, height and weight  done  September through December

Grade 11: blood pressure done in the Spring

All students who receive Special Education services will be screened for vision and hearing yearly.
