Kimberly Audette
Professional History
I have been teaching since January of 1997. My teaching career began at St. Francis Xavier School in Winooski, Vermont teaching 6, 7 and 8th grade mathematics. Shortly I made a change to Shelburne Community School, and taught for 3 years on a 6-8 multi-age, integrated curriculum team as the math teacher. Next, I travelled across the sea, to teach at the Swiss boarding school of Leysin American School. While in Leysin, I taught IB (International Baccalaureate) Mathematics and Computer Programming. After two years, my itch to travel brought me to Warsaw, Poland. I taught IB Mathematics for two years at the Amercian School of Warsaw. Life abroad included incredible travel opportunities in addition to professional growth. Most recently I returned to my home, Vermont. I have been teaching at Essex since August 2004.
Extra Help
I am available most days afterschool and during my non-teaching blocks A1,2 and B3,4. Please feel free to come to ask questions during these times. You can find me in the math office, or C-105 afterschool.
