Welcome to the Fine Arts Department
Theater Club
Theater Club meets on alternating Tuesdays and Wednesday from 2:30 – 3:30pm in the Black Box Theater. The club works on improvisational and acting skills. We will also be holding monthly film nights, with possible sleepovers. The club offers a safe, creative atmosphere for students to gather and learn more about theater in all its aspects. The club is open to any interested students, anytime of the year. Drop in when you can!
The club this year will perform with the Varsity Improv Team at the Mock Improv Competition on Thursday, January 10th. Participation is open to all theater club members. Members may also help facilitate the show.
In the spring, the Theater Club will co-host a murder mystery dinner show fundraiser for COTS. The club will adapt a murder mystery script based on a 1920’s gangster story, and perform during a CTE dinner. Participation in the murder mystery is open to all who can commit to a one month rehearsal schedule.
