As a final project, a group of juniors in our French V class decided to create our own music video to the song "Elle Me Dit" by MIKA. A few of us recorded ourselves singing the song and edited the track overlaying an instrumental version of the song.   Read More

Great Locker Clean-Out's goal at the end of the school year is to work together to sort and save recyclable materials and reusable materials from being tossed into the landfill. In 2011, Comcast introduced the Internet Essentials program to assist all students and families in acquiring broadband access. Internet Essentials provides a more affordable opportunity for children to be able to access online learning tools and helps eliminate the digital divide that takes place in many Vermont communities.  Read More

Teddy Ninh, a junior at Essex High School, won “Best of Show” for his duck painting for the State of Vermont in the Federal Junior Duck Stamp Contest. This program is administered b the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, an agency of the Department of the Interior. Students from all over the state research waterfowl anatomy and habitat and then illustrate their knowledge by drawing, painting or sketching a picture of an eligible North American waterfowl   Read More

Essex High School Junior Matthew Wu was the first-prize winner in the 21st Annual Mathematics Talent Search sponsored by the Vermont State Mathematics Coalition. Wu solved all 32 very challenging problems correctly on the four tests. Last year Matthew also received first prize, having placed second in the two previous years. Vignesh Rajendran, also a junior at Essex High School, was the second prize winner Rajendran had placed in the top ten in two previous years.  Read More

AFJROTC is hosting their annual Summer Leadership Camp from Wed, June 25th thru Wed, July 2nd. This camp is super-fun and offers lots of activities including FLYING, paintball, water & field sports, and even an overnight trek and camp out.   Read More
