4th Annual Rich – Trono Bowling Championship
On November 23rd, the EHS math teachers defendedtheir title against the BHS math department in the 4th annual Rich – Trono bowling championship. For the 3rd time in 4 years, by a score of 4 1/2 – 2 1/2, EHS was able to bring home the coveted giant calculator trohpy. EHS team members: Mr. Roberts, Mr. Langevin, Mr. Norris, Mr. Gilbert, Mrs. Soltau, Mrs. Smith (MVP), Mrs. Anthony, Mr. Pellerin.
It is the objective of the members of the Mathematics Curriculum Content Area of Essex High School to offer a sufficient variety of courses to provide training for all students. This objective offers opportunities to develop to the fullest extent students’ natural abilities and interests, and to develop logical and critical thinking, which will enhance students’ problem solving abilities.
