Film
The Film strand of the Essex High School Fine Arts department contains many great opportunities for students interested in this area.
The two main classes offered are Media Communications. Which gives students the tools and skills to technically create short film. The second class is Movie Production. In this class technical skill meets more artistic and demanding projects.
Beyond Movie Production students can take an Independent study in Film as well as work on our school digital media club production EHSPN. We also work closely with the Fifty Hour Film Contest and RETN. Dedicated filmmakers can also apply for the AVPA Film Strand.
