DANCE 1 F023
This course will introduce several dance genres. Students will explore the fundamentals of ballet, hip hop (including
breaking), jazz, modern, and some social dances. Students will learn primarily through the physical experience of taking dance class and through videos. The class concludes with a public performance co-choreographed by the teacher and the students.
This is a physical class and appropriate dance clothing must be worn for all classes.
Grades 9-12 ½ Credit [FA]
