Senior Cadet Staff
Cadet Major Alyssa Baker (Corp Commander)
I supervise the overall cadet corps. I control staff planning and the execution of events and activities. I like writing, forensics, medicine, and business. I hope to attend Marymount Manhattan in New York City to get a Bachelor’s Degree in both PreMedicine and Buisness. I plan on becoming an Emergency Medicine Doctor working in the Emergency Room. I also hope to someday get involved with Doctors without Borders.
Cadet Captain Megan Trahan (Deputy Corp Commander)
I am second in command for the cadet corps. I manage the community service records for all cadets. I love to write, travel, studying other cultures, and helping people in third-world countries. I plan on attending college at CCV while continuing to work here in Essex. I plan to then switch to a different school after deciding my major. I am considering the Air Guard, and plan on studying abroad in my later years of college. I am also considering the peace corp.
Cadet First Lieutenant Camron McGuire (Operations Squadron Commander)
I am third in command in the cadet corps. I am in charge of all of the flights. I am also in charge of tech. equipment for events and activities. I am also the Drill Team Commander this year. I teach the team how to drill and lead the team through competitions. I enjoy Sodoku, video games, math, science, helping others, and just about anything that tests my logicial mind. I plan on attending UVM for either chemestry or physics. I am still debating with myself if i want to continue to ROTC but I am undecided. I also hope that i would be able to meet and interact with real wolves before I die.
Cadet Second Lieutenant Marilyn Girardin (Support Squadron Commander)
I am fourth in command of the cadet corps. I am responsible of the administrative, personnel, and logistics branches. I have been responsible for support projects such as the Irene relief drive and a care package for a previous cadet, who is currently overseas, as well as his mother who helped keep AFJROTC alive in the past. I am currently in charge of the concession stand and the Military Formal. I love the ocean, playing softball, hiking, and animals. I plan on going to college; most likely in state; for Buisness; as well as joining the Air Guard.
Cadet Technical Sergeant Kyle Stetson (Senior Enlisted Advisor/1st Sgt)
I am fifth in command of the cadet corps. I am a direct advisor to the Corps Commander as the highest ranking NCO. I march the corps of cadets during parades. I am also the Aero Club Commander. I give people, who have a passion for flying, the opprotunity to express that passion. I love outdoor activities (both summer and winter). I also like to play video games. My most favorite thing to do is to hang out with my JROTC friends. I consider them my second family. I plan on attending the University of Northwestern Ohio. I want to work in the agricultural program as a heavy equipment mechanic. I also plan on getting my CDL license. After college, I am considering the Vermont Technical Center, but I’m currently not sure.
Cadet Second Lieutenant Mike Kelly (Communications Officer)
I am in charge of all media coverage for the cadet corp.
Cadet Second Lieutenant Chance Creamer (Logistics Officer)
I am in charge of the cleaning of the classroom and the snack bar in the office.
Cadet Second Lieutenant Adam Correia (Alpha Flight Commander)
I am in charge of the senior flight. I am in charge of certain events such as the corps jackets, the lock-ins, and the pot luck dinner. I like hanging out with my friends and family. I also like anime and wrestling. I hope to attend Norwich University. I also want to join the Air Guard and become a weapons specialist and military police officer.
