Air Force Junior ROTC

The AFJROTC program is grounded in the Air Force core values of integrity first, service before self, and excellence in all we do. The curriculum emphasizes the Air Force heritage and traditions, the development of flight, applied flight sciences, global awareness, military aerospace policies, and space exploration.
Participation in JROTC does not obligate the student to join the military. Students who desire to join the military may be able to enter at a pay grade higher than most if they successfully complete the JROTC program. Participation in JROTC may benefit college-bound students, especially those applying for an Air Force Academy nomination or an Air Force ROTC scholarship.

An after-school AFJROTC program will be offered in Fall 2013 to students who can’t fit the academics into their schedules. We especially want to invite students in the CTE, other High Schools, or even Home-Schooled students, who were not able to access AFJROTC previously. Classes will be conducted for one hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays after-school, leading to 1 Elective Credit. If interested, or you know anyone who is, please contact guidance as soon as possible.
