The EHS Children’s Play this year is the mini-musical Hercules. Matinees for area elementary and middle schools are on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1 at 12:45 p.m. Evening performances are at 6 p.m., with an additional matinee for the public on Saturday, May 2 at 2 p.m. All performances are free!  Read More


On Sunday April 20th EHS students participated in Matsuri 2015 - an annual Japanese Cultural Festival of Arts, Crafts and Music - that took place at Saint Michael's College. EHS Students performed Ouendan & Bon Odori - Japanese Folk Dance.  Read More

Essex High School captured its third straight state high school academic championship on Saturday, March 28, coming from behind in the championship match to win the Vermont-NEA Scholars' Bowl at the University of Vermont.  Read More


On March 11, 15 Essex High School students took the 2015 local exam for the Chemistry Olympiad, a yearly event sponsored by the American Chemical Society (ACS). An astounding 12 of the 14 did well enough to qualify for the next round of competition with scores of greater than 50%, but the rules limit each school to two competitors at the next round.   Read More


The 2015 Essex High School graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 13 starting at 10:00 a.m. in the EHS Skating Facility (2 Educational Drive).  Read More
