Title I Math
Designing 21st Century Universal Classrooms
What is the Title I Math Program?
Title I is a supplemental program that students receive in addition to the math instruction they receive in their regular classroom. This supplemental support could happen within the classroom during instruction time or outside the classroom in a small group setting. The same skills being covered in the class are reinforced until secure through participation in the Title I Program. The concepts that students focus on during the year are included in the CCSU Guaranteed, Viable Curriculum for Math.
How does the Title I Math Program help students?
Students served by our Title I Math Support Programs are provided with differentiated, needs-based supplemental instruction and materials that provide increased opportunities for them to work toward improving achievement by strengthening their math skills and applications.
