Parental Involvement
Parents are encouraged to be involved in all aspects of the Title I Programs. Title I teachers communicate with parents by having conferences, sending notes / e-mails, and making phone calls throughout the year. Each school’s program also provides suggestions for parents about how to work with their children at home to improve their skills and performance.

School and Home Compact
The School and Home Compact between the Essex Junction School District’s four Title I Targeted Assistance schools and the parents of the students participating in targeted assistance activities, services, and programs funded by Title I provides guidelines for sharing responsibility for improved student academic achievement. By building and developing this partnership, we will help students in the program make progress in meeting rigorous, identified standards.
