CCSU Music Mission Statement
An understanding of the arts enhances the quality of life and is basic to one’s need for expression, communication, and nurturing of the whole person. The mission of the Chittenden Central Supervisory Union K-12 music educators is to educate all students in a supportive, challenging environment. A well-rounded K-12 music curriculum will provide students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities for expression in music, enabling them to participate actively as lifelong creators and consumers of music in a global community.
