There has been a confirmed case of Chicken Pox (Varicella) in the Essex High School student population.

If you are uncertain of your immunization or Chicken Pox exposure history, please contact your health care provider. The Varicella vaccine can prevent or modify the disease if the immunization is given within three days of exposure.
