Paint Shop

The Paint Shop is located in the lower level at Essex High School, within the facilities maintenance area. Our painting staff does custom painting for new construction within our facilities, as well as maintaining and touching up existing walls, trims, and furniture to keep them clean and protected. Our painters prep, prime and paint exterior walls, bleachers, benches, and storage buildings, along with removing graffiti if needed. Our painters assist the custodial staff in keeping our schools looking fresh and bright for our students, faculty, and staff.

Nancy began working for our district in 1977 in the facilities maintenance department. Nancy works in the painting department, as well as with the custodial staff. She repairs lockers, delivers department packages, and keeps Essex High School clean and safe. Nancy’s positive attitude, pride in her work, and longevity with the district, make her a valuable employee in Property Services.
