Welcome to the Property Services'
Electrical Shop
The Electrical Department consists of one electrician, David Prince, but routinely utilizes other help from within the Maintenance Department depending on work load. Our electrician coordinates and carries out the installation, maintenance and repair of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in both the Union 46 and the Essex Junction School District. Many of the jobs are routine, such as the replacement of light ballasts in building fixtures and campus street lighting. The Electrical Department is also responsible for trouble shooting and repair of our centrally controlled heating and ventilation systems, automated hockey rink controls, fire alarms, clock systems, 2 lighted athletic fields, and 2 municipal pools. Our electrician must assist all other Maintenance Facilities departments should an emergency occur.
