Going Green

The Essex Educational Center Food Service kitchens have become greener. Composting is now occurring daily!

Buying Local

The CCSU Food Service is currently adding to our offering of local fresh fruits and vegetables for our children to consume. This month we purchased, processed and served:

  • Vermont yellow summer squash

  • Vermont green peppers

  • Vermont eggplant

  • Vermont Macintosh apples

  • Vermont zucchini

  • Vermont cucumbers
