The EHS library recently purchased two Breakout EDU boxes. Breakout EDU creates ultra-engaging learning games that teach teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting by presenting participants with challenges.

Following an extensive review of candidates, the newly formed Essex Westford School District Board of School Directors has appointed Beth Ellen Cobb as Superintendent commencing July 1, 2017.
AP Art students at EHS took part in the Memory Project again this year, as they painted portraits of young Colombian orphans (3-4 years old).
As you may be aware, the newly formed Essex Westford School Board will be conducting interviews of our three finalists for the Superintendent of Schools position on January 4 and 5, we have also scheduled community forums to provide an opportunity to meet with candidates on those same dates
On December 11th, a group of 12 Westford students ages 9-12 competed at the Vermont First Lego League competition at Norwich University and was awarded the Global Innovation Award.
