Beginning this school year (2011-2012), the CCSU Food Service switched from a 1% chocolate milk to a fat free chocolate milk. The change resulted in 11,000 fewer grams of fat being consumed by students a week!    Read More

The Food Service Directors Association (co-chaired by Doug Davis, Burlington Food Service Director and Robert Clifford, CCSU Food Service Director) negotiated a contract, despite financial considerations, with Reinhart Foods of Colchester that made 8oz milk available in recyclable plastic containers and flavored milk free of high fructose corn syrup available to Vermont children for the first time.    Read More
