Farm Fresh Foods for Healthy Kids is a research study that evaluates how access to a weekly share of farm fresh foods and healthy eating classes influence the dietary patterns of children in participating families.
In addition to our published hot entrée, we offer a variety of healthy entrée options offered daily.
If your child would like to purchase meals from school, but has special dietary needs, we are able to accommodate many food allergies and restrictions.

We have recently pledged to bring Vermont Harvest of the Month (HOM) to our schools! Each month we will highlight the Harvest of the Month food in a "Harvest Salad".
School breakfast which is often called snack cart is served daily at all of our schools. The cost per meal is $2.00 and includes entrée, fruit, juice and milk. Most of the options, including milk and juice, can be purchased individually for $.85.
Due to much student feedback, beginning on Monday, November 14th, we will be offering Domino’s cheese or pepperoni pizza. Domino’s prepares a special recipe called “Smart Slice” that has been developed specifically for schools.

The new item is a Chicken & Cheese Flatbread and will be topped with a choice of Ranch Dressing, Barbeque Sauce, or Buffalo Sauce. We have scheduled taste tests at each of our schools to take place over the next few weeks.
Healthy eating promotes the ability to learn and can improve exam scores. Students need the strength from nutritious foods to keep up with the mental demands of the school day. Healthy eating has also been shown to improve student attendance by keeping the immune system strong and less likely to become ill.
