Alchemy Team
Welcome to Team Alchemy!
Our motto is to “Be GOLD” which means Give it your best, Own your choices, Lead by example and Do the right thing. We have been working on building our new team for the first quarter and celebrated our first GOLD day, recognizing those students who embraced the idea of “Give it your best!”
The teachers on team Alchemy include:
Kathy Hunt, Langauge Arts
Janet Watts, Math
Roger Bisson, Science
Amanda Eldridge, Social Studies
Sue Plunkett-Dunning, Foreign Language
Mimi Rosner, Foreign Language
Alda Sauer-Norcross, Special Educator
Lisa Brigham, Instructional Assistant
Students have the opportunity to receive gold coins for recognition of examples of being “GOLD”. Their names are then entered into a jar for periodic drawings for a variety of prizes. Please ask your student how they are embracing our team motto throughout the school year!
Alchemy is planning another GOLD day for December 23rd. We will be offering students the opportunity to choose various activities throughout the day that will encourage them to try new things or work together in an effort to build team identity. ALL 8th graders will be together regardless of what team they are on, and students are looking forward to this day of fun before the holidays. Please let us know if you are willing and able to help out (we could really use some help chaperoning the ice skating blocks in the morning and afternoon). Contact Kathy Hunt with more questions at khunt@ccsuvt.org.
