Family and Consumer Science is part of the unified arts program at ADL. Every student in grades 6-8 gets 9 weeks of instruction in each of their arts classes. The Family and Consumer Science curriculum has a strong emphasis on life skills, being good consumers, community service and emotional health. The course outlines for each grade are as follows:
