The week of October 21st was the week for public recognition of ADL educators. ABC 22 news dropped by to speak with Kathleen Legg, our 2014 VASE Science Teacher of the Year award winner. Anchor Mike Curkov was able to capture engaging classroom instruction and also interviewed Ms. Singer, Ms. Legg, and students Grace Lu and Josh Baker. Connect 5 Annual Test: We will be running a TEST of our automated emergency broadcast system on Friday, November 14th at 11am.   Read More


Winter Sports Information - starting on Nov. 3rd!   Read More


Sixth graders went on their annual field trip to the Audubon Center in Huntington and completed two traditional activities during the trip. Students worked together to gather benthic macro invertebrates from the river. This activity will allow students to determine the overall health of the river system.   Read More


One Vermont school is taking the study of “Wonder” to another level this school year: Albert D. Lawton Intermediate School in Essex Junction. Every student there read the novel, discussed it with their classmates, and was assessed on it.   Read More


Kids from ADL Farm to School Cooking Club found out that Brussels sprouts actually taste quite good. They decided to highlight Brussels sprouts for their first school-wide taste test and it was a hit.   Read More


The Yearbook Club at ADL started on Sept. 8. The club of over 20 students is hard at work making another fun, colorful yearbook for the students. You can already purchase a yearbook for $20 online on the ADL website or pick up an order form at the front office.  Read More
