Westford Town Clerk Nanette Rogers provided the following information regarding the important dates for the Westford School Budget Reconsideration and Absentee Ballots:

• May 11 (Tuesday): Budget Informational Meeting, 7:00 p.m., Westford School (gym)
• May 12 (Wednesday): 5:00 p.m. deadline to submit an application for addition to the checklist, or to file a written notice of intent to apply for those who are not eligible to register to vote but will be by May 18
• May 17 (Monday): Last day a voter, or an authorized person on behalf of a voter, may request an absentee ballot (until 5:00 p.m.)
• May 18 (Tuesday): Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Westford School
  

Absentee ballots are now available for the school reconsideration vote (occurring May 18).  A request for an absentee ballot can be made until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17.  If you would like your ballot mailed, please allow enough time for the post office to deliver the ballot and for the ballot to be at the polls when they close at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 18 (postmarks are NOT accepted).

• Coming to the Town Office

A family member can request a ballot for another family member.  However, please note that the only person who can pick up a ballot at the Town Office is the voter.

You can vote in the Town Office if you do not want your ballot mailed, or if there is not enough time for the ballot to be mailed.
