Want to know more about our local food systems and how to transform school meals?

Join us on March 26 at UVM’s Davis Center, where Janet Poppendieck, author of the book  Free for All: Fixing School Food in America, will share her opinions and ideas about what Vermont communities can do to transform school food, the children’s health, our educational institutions, and our local farm economies.

This even is part of the UVM’s Food Systems Initiative, which seeks to strengthen the viability of regional food systems for globally scaled issues through research, education, and outreach. For more resources visit
