On behalf of the U-46 School Board, I’d like to thank our community for its vote of support and approval of the 2012-2013 school budgets. The vote on the budget each year is a culmination of much work on the part of school administration, faculty, and your school boards. Your approval of this work is gratifying and continues to demonstrate the commitment this community has to a quality education for its students. I’d also like to welcome our newly elected board member from Essex, Mr. Gary Baker!
Thank you as well to those of you that took the time to offer your attention and input at the budget presentation on Monday, April 10th in the High School cafeteria. Attendees that evening were treated to a wonderful presentation from the color guard, refreshments from the food services program, and a fantastic choral performance of our national anthem.
We look forward to the upcoming school year!
